LABEL 5 UNVEILS TRAVEL RETAIL EXCLUSIVE 8 YEAR OLD AT TFWA ASIA PACIFIC EXHIBITION, SINGAPORE.
The brand is preparing to launch the first travel retail exclusive expression from its popular LABEL 5 blended Scotch whisky range.
LABEL 5 8 Year Old will make its travel retail debut at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore in May, marking a key step in the brand’s premiumisation strategy in travel retail.
A blend of carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, matured in American bourbon and Spanish Oloroso casks, this expression underlines LABEL 5 Master Blender Stephen Woodcock’s commitment to meeting the expectations of today’s whisky drinkers. “Today’s consumers are looking for whiskies that ‘speak to them’, with genuine character and depth, while still offering strong value,” said Woodcock. “LABEL 5 8 Year Old delivers on all three, combining maturity, complexity and approachability.
This new Master’s Selection reflects the 8 Year Old’s elevated positioning within the portfolio. “You have the sweetness of bourbon-seasoned American oak, the dry, fruity vibrance of Oloroso sherry, and a delicate smokiness that ties everything together,” Woodcock explained. “It’s a balanced yet distinctive expression that remains unmistakably LABEL 5, designed to showcase the craftsmanship and confidence that define the brand.”
The 8 Year Old offers a strong opportunity to recruit new consumers and introduce the brand through a more premium expression. As LABEL 5’s first travel retail exclusive release, this new expression reinforces the brand’s global position, with LABEL 5 ranking as the sixth most popular Scotch whisky in global Travel retail, and third in UAE travel retail (source ISWR 2025) . It is expected to become a cornerstone – a LABEL 5 flagship – of the brand’s travel retail strategy.
This 8 Year Old Travel retail exclusive will be available in 1L format - 41,2%.
